The Application is developed using J2EE platform, and deployed at cloud computing environment.

Familybuilder is quickly becoming the most-used genealogy service online and is ranked as the #4 online genealogy service in the world according to comScore, with over 4 million users and over 20 million family tree profiles as part of its Family Tree application. According to Adonomics, Familybuilder ranks in the top 50 applications found on Facebook out of 38,000. The company raised its series of round financing in February 2008 through London-based DN Capital. Familybuilder was launched in June 2007 and is privately held.
